Each cycle begins on the 1st and closes on the final day of the month, with winners announced by the 15th of the next month. If you don’t receive a grant this month, you’re welcome to reapply—each cycle is a new opportunity to move closer to your goals.

When will I know if I've been selected for a grant?
Grant winners are announced on the 15th of the month following the application cycle. You will receive an email notification if your application is selected. We encourage you to check your email regularly, including your spam folder, to ensure you don’t miss any updates.
Can I make changes to my application after it has been submitted?
Unfortunately, once an application has been submitted, it cannot be modified. If you need to provide additional information or clarify any details, please contact us directly at grants@sparkmint.org for assistance.
How are grant recipients selected?
Applications are reviewed by our advisory board based on criteria such as the clarity of your business vision, potential impact, need for funding, and overall feasibility. We aim to support businesses with strong potential for growth and positive community impact.
What happens if my application is not selected?
If your application is not selected for the current grant cycle, you are welcome to reapply for future cycles. Keep an eye out for updates on new grant opportunities and deadlines.
What can I use the grant funds for?
Grant funds are flexible and can be used for a variety of business needs, including marketing, product development, hiring, equipment purchases, and more. We encourage you to outline how you plan to use the funds in your application to strengthen your case.
Do I need to provide any documentation?
While no documents are needed to apply, winners may be asked to provide proof of business ownership documentation. This is to verify eligibility for the grant and funds disbursal. Rest assured, the process is straightforward, and we are here to assist you every step of the way.
Are there any reporting requirements?
We believe in simplicity and trust. While there is no formal reporting required, we do ask for periodic updates on how your business is progressing with the help of our grant. These updates help us understand your success and challenges and enable us to tailor our future support more effectively. Sharing your journey also inspires other women entrepreneurs within our community.
How & when are funds disbursed?
Once you are declared a winner of a SparkMint grant and your eligibility is verified, payment is disbursed directly to your bank account via ACH transfer. To facilitate this, winners will receive a form to complete along with IRS form W9, which gathers necessary details to process the deposit. Upon completion and submission of this form, the ACH is typically sent within 10 business days. We strive to ensure the process is as smooth and efficient as possible, so you can start using your grant to make a difference in your business right away.
